Facilities

Millennium World School Bengaluru boasts of an eco-friendly campus laid out well in an area of about 5 acres. The campus building is designed to accommodate all the essential facilities for a school while maintaining a global standard. Special attention has been paid to the ambiance of the campus to make it spacious and crowd-free for the students and staff to carry on the functions with ease. From wide corridors to extensive ventilation, the campus architecture is designed after thorough research for a comfortable learning environment.

Classrooms

“In an effective classroom, students should not only know what they are doing, they should also know why and how.”- Harry Wong

A lot of time of the students is spent in the classroom, therefore, it is pertinent that classrooms require the right form of molding to contribute into the learning process of the students. The MWS campus has spacious classrooms equipped for smart learning and activity rooms curated for students to learn in a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Keeping in mind that students spend a good amount of time the classrooms are designed with adequate ventilation allowing the students to remain fresh and agile during class hours.

Experience Labs

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its reasons for existing.” -Albert Einstein

The campus has designated science labs for students to delve into their learning process with even prescience and practical insights. The school has the best designed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs with all the essential apparatus and equipment for the students to identify objects, phenomena, learn and question universal facts, learn to plan, process data, and carry out experiments that lead to concrete conclusions. The sophisticated and spacious labs are incorporated for the complete understanding of the theoretical concepts that the students learn in the classrooms.

Math Lab

“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding.” – William Paul Thurston

The school has incorporated a math lab to bust the myth of Mathematics as a dreary subject and stimulate interest among the students. The aim is to change the approach towards the subject and encourage the students to brainstorm and enjoy the solution-finding process. The activities enable the students to verify several geometrical properties using models or by paper-cutting and folding techniques and provides scope for greater involvement of both the mind and hand which facilitates cognition.

Library

“Reading is an integral part of learning & we nurture the right reading skills since formative years”.

Libraries are vital for schools and students; they are a storehouse of knowledge. The library in the school campus is well stocked with books ranging from all genres. While learning is getting embedded with technology rapidly the importance of books can’t be ignored. The library in the Millenium Campus is incorporated with an attempt to develop an interest in reading and creating an environment for developing research and information literacy skills. The campus library is a Power House for children, laid out well with age-appropriate reading resources, handpicked from the best of international labels, to nurture the right vocabulary & diction in children.

Infirmary

The school has a medical room for emergency and first aid services under the guidance of a trained nurse available on duty during school hours. The medical room is well lit with the availability of the basic medication facility. However, nothing is given to the child without first consulting with the parent to ascertain any allergies a child may have. All the medications are handed over at the reception before registration. Students are not allowed to carry medication with them, except asthma inhalers and diabetic equipment or any other medicine as prescribed by the Doctor and notified to the school well in advance.

Yoga Room

A yoga room has been set up for the students to cultivate the habit of self-wellbeing and subtle physical activities. The morning assembly is followed by basic meditation and stretching exercises. It is proven that meditation and yoga can improve mental focus and concentrating ability. Also practicing healthy habits from a young age has an advantage for better health and stamina, as well as integrating it into regular lifestyle activities.
