The MLS is designed with extensive research and scientific thinking which has led it to be loved by all the children. The basic idea behind the curriculum and learning system is to ‘teach the way the child wants to learn’ . Every child is unique, their method of grasping knowledge and perceiving the knowledge is different, thus they require a learning system that communicates to them without stressing them. The MLS is an award-winning curriculum due to its extensive student-centric approach and is loved by the children equally. It is divided into the following five approaches
LM or Little Millennium, is for the tiny tots taking their baby steps into the educational verse away from the comfort of their home and recognized faces. The phase between the age of 0-5 of a child is about discovering and learning through exploring and experiencing. Little Millenium opens the door to learning in a play-way method with hands on experience, while integrating best practices from Montessori and kindergarten approaches. Our primary focus is to groom children with the right, Intellectual, Social, Emotional and Developmental Skills- while helping them enjoy learning with vibrant memories – to set up a remarkable milestone in the early years.
MLS I is uniquely designed for the age group of 6-10 years. The formative year of a child is extremely crucial. This is the time when the children come out of the play-learning mode and discover their learning style. The curriculum under MLS I allows the children to deepen their intellectual curiosity with self-paced progress. This is the stage when children learn by ‘doing’ and they are given ample opportunities to experience concept building through projects. This age group follows the Project-Based Approach which enhances their skills and makes them future-ready with key aspects like critical thinking, problem-solving, logic and reasoning, analyzing, and much more beyond the four walls of the classrooms. The learning system has over 300 exciting concept-based projects designed carefully with a supreme pedagogical method for the children to apply their knowledge and understanding.
MLS II caters to the age group of 11-12 years. The learning system for this age group follows the Apprentice Based Approach. The curriculum uses models and protagonists to explain concepts and introduce children to a world of vocations that awaits them ahead of schooling. The children at this stage have evolved in their intellects and are constantly seeking logic and reasoning for every concept which is taught to them. Every happening and every phenomenon has to be reasoned to allow the children to grasp the intended meaning of it. Thus, the Apprentice Based Approach involves explanation linked to real-life projects which could contribute develop a certain area of interest in the child to follow in the future. The curriculum is adaptive and allows the children to discover the potentials and solve challenges that are crucial for the upcoming adolescent phase of their lives.
As children step into adolescence at 13 years, they grapple with multiple questions about themselves and their future. MLS III curriculum is based on helping children map their knowledge to real-life and hence this age follows the Mind Mapping Approach to Learning. The curriculum allows the students to expand their frontiers beyond the syllabus and scale new heights by developing personal abilities and aptitudes unique to them. They are indulged in several memory strategies, graphic organizers, and mind mapping sessions. These strategies and sessions are designed not only to help them to achieve academic success but to form a habit of problem-solving through reasoning and brainstorming. It prepares them for the ever-challenging future with a rational approach and allows them to grow intellectually.
MLS IV curriculum is designed for 15 -16 years old who are at a crucial juncture of life as they are posed with challenging choices and external assessments, all of which can prove to be very daunting. MLS IV follows the Brain-Based Approach to learning and provides them with strong concept clarity, critical thinking and decision-making skills, and ample drill and practice which makes them Examination Smart but also ready to face the world. Great care is taken to form the personality and character of the students during this phase. This phase also remains crucial to develop leadership skills in students as they are at the threshold of entering a bigger world post the completion of their schools. Thus, efforts are being made to imbibe the ability to lead with responsibility while engaging the students in extracurricular activities.
